The Sutta Nipata, part of the Theravada Canon of Scripture, has long been a favorite of mine - this since becoming acquainted with its very first chapter (The Simile of the Snake) in an essay by the great Theravada Elder Nyanaponika Thera.
I also have the new translation by Bhikku Bodhi but the sheer size of the whole book, which includes notes /5(3).
